Refund and Cancellation Policy

At Travpeace Holidays, we are committed to delivering exceptional travel experiences. However, unforeseen circumstances can arise, necessitating changes or cancellations. Below is a comprehensive outline of our refund and cancellation policy, which ensures transparency and mutual understanding.

Cancellation by Travpeace Holidays

Travpeace Holidays retains the right to cancel or amend bookings when necessary. This could happen due to reasons beyond our control, such as natural disasters, government restrictions, or unforeseen operational challenges.

  • Alternate Arrangements: In such situations, we will make every effort to arrange alternative accommodations or revise your itinerary, subject to availability. However, any additional costs incurred due to these changes will need to be borne by the traveler.
  • Limitations of Liability: Please note that Travpeace Holidays is not liable to compensate for damages, losses, or other expenses resulting from such cancellations or amendments.
Cancellation by the Customer

If you decide to cancel your tour package, the following terms and conditions will apply:

  1. Notification Requirement:
    • All cancellations must be communicated in writing via email.
    • Cancellations will only be considered valid once a written acknowledgment is received from our team.
  2. Cancellation Charges:

    Cancellation fees are applicable regardless of the reason for cancellation, including medical emergencies or personal circumstances. These charges are calculated to offset the operational losses we incur due to the cancellation of your booking.

    • For group bookings, higher cancellation charges may apply as they help mitigate the financial impact on the remaining group members.
  3. Cancellation Fee Structure:
    • Minimum Charges: ₹2,000 per person once the booking is confirmed.
    • 30–20 Days Prior to Departure: 40% of the total package cost.
    • 20–10 Days Prior to Departure: 50% of the total package cost.
    • 10–7 Days Prior to Departure: 75% of the total package cost.
    • Less Than 7 Days Prior to Departure: 100% of the total package cost (no refund).
  4. Postponement and Preponement Charges:
    • If you wish to reschedule your trip (postpone or prepone), and the request is made at least 7 days before your travel date, a service charge of ₹1,500 per person will apply.
Cancellation Due to Non-Payment

Travpeace Holidays reserves the right to cancel any booking if the balance payment is not received within the stipulated timeframe.

  • Refunds for Non-Payment Cancellations:
    • Any advance payment made will be adjusted against applicable cancellation charges.
    • Refunds, if applicable, will only be processed via cheque and issued in the name of the primary booking holder.
    • No requests for cash refunds or third-party remittances will be entertained, as this is against our company policy.
Processing Charges

A processing fee of 10% of the total package cost will be charged if a booking is withdrawn, even within 5 minutes of the booking confirmation reference number being communicated. After the booking confirmation, standard cancellation charges (as outlined above) will also apply.

Refund Process and Timelines
  1. Refund Method:

    • Refunds will only be processed after deducting applicable cancellation and processing charges.
    • All refunds will be issued via cheque in the name of the primary booking holder.
  2. Timelines for Refunds:

    • Refunds will be processed within 15–20 business days from the date of cancellation approval.
  3. Refund Limitations:

    • Refunds are not available for any partial utilization of services, including unused hotel stays, missed meals, or partially used transportation.
Important Notes
  1. Non-Refundable Services: Certain services such as visa fees, flight tickets, or permits may be non-refundable, subject to the terms and conditions of the respective service providers.
  2. Force Majeure: In cases of force majeure (natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, or government restrictions), Travpeace Holidays will strive to provide alternative solutions, but refunds may not be guaranteed.
  3. Dispute Resolution: For any disputes regarding cancellations or refunds, we encourage customers to contact us directly for resolution.
